The worst stay in Abu Dhabi Negative: This is the worst experience of mine after years of coming to UAE. I’ve arrived at 5am in the morning and the first thing I’ve seen was a pile of dirty linens on the floor next to the apartment. Not even a single little bottle of water provided upon arrival (imagine steeping in there at 5am after 15h flight), WiFi not working properly or sometimes not working at all, no hangers in the wardrobe so I couldn’t unpack my suitcase for several days, hair dryer missing and together with hangers provided on last but one day of my stay, promised oven and kitchenware- but not a single pot or pan, no timely information provided about the location of gym and pool, cat’s toilet smell in the apartment …most importantly, zero interest in sorting out all this issues timely. They message they’re sorry, some mysterious ‘team’ is supposed to sort out issues but nothing happens. They asked when I’m available for someone to come and fix WiFi, I amended my plans and gave an availability but no one showed up. Literally every evening WiFi wasn’t working which dragged me in extremely expensive international roaming. I can’t even express how disappointed am I with this stay. Even now I’ve ‘fixed’ many things for future guests of this apartment, I don’t recommend it for someone who is looking for a ‘settled home feeling’ - flat itself is over furnished for its size, has terribly uncomfortable shower without a proper glass - half of tiny bathroom is flooded after each shower, there’s no space even to open a suitcase bigger than cabin size, super dirty balcony glass - you can only enjoy the view if you’re standing, no supermarket nearby. Plus ridiculous deposit they demand- I find it totally offensive after experiencing such poorly managed property.
