On top of this I have called Booking.com over 20 times to resolve the issues. I was promised a full refund in 5 to 7 day
Negative: The hotel is nowhere near standards, especially not for the price. See photos attached. The booking states 'luxurious' not unhygienic and disgusting. This is a false sale.
There is clear grime, damaged goods and actual dirt. The bathroom is unhygienic and unsafe. There is mould and grime around all water fittings.
Upon booking I was NOT allowed to check in. This is despite paying in full and them taking the security deposit two times. This is also despite paying on a reputable global company such as yourselves and having a booking confirmation number. I have never known this in my life. The reception said they had to wait for confirmation from a third party this is despite this not being mentioned on booking. In fact, they said this will take hours this company 'is very bad'. I had to wait 4 hours with a baby to be able to check in. They would not allow us to use any facility or be present. We had to wait in the car, trapped. We were not allowed into the car park. We were moved repeatedly, including putting my child into the car and out and the pram. From this, we waited longer and then the company told me they would send confirmation. This did not happen. Again, we had to wait and I was told someone would go to the office and come here to let us in. This did not happen. No one was contactable. After waiting longer, we were told to park the car as we had a bay. I loaded the car again and drove to the bay. I was then trapped in the car park as we had no access code. They had not given the code to get back in. After 30 minutes of being stuck with a crying child we were let in only to be told we had to move the car, go back to reception, go to the room and then back to the car and then we would be given an access card. This didn't happen. I spoke directly with the company who asked me to put reception on the phone. Reception said 'there were no issues we could check in' I only got in the room 45 minutes after this. This was a lie.
